Equipment
In order to get the most out of your training sessions, and to not distract other swimmers that are prepared, we require you to have all your equipment ready before each session starts. We recommend the following for use in all the sessions:
DMC training fins ($65-$100 depending on size)
Alignment kick-board ($30)
Ankle strap ($10)
Nose clip ($6)
TRC mono snorkel ($40)
FINIS Tempo Trainer ($60)
TRC mesh bag ($20)
TRC bag tag ($4)
EQUIPMENT BAG
You will receive a TRC signature T-shirt with the purchase of a full equipment bag (all items above in a mesh bag) when you order before the camp’s start date. Typically, an equipment bag costs about $292, but depends on the fins you choose. *Add up items listed above for equipment bag cost. (Please notice the prices are the same as what other retailers sell. We go through the trouble of having it conveniently available for you because it helps with your swimming technique and learning all we will teach you.)
Once registered for a Swim Camp, please let us know if you will need any or all of the equipment.
Hello,
I am interested in the swim camp from 12/27 to 12/30 for my daughter. She is 12 year old.
But I have seen that the pool is an outdoor Pool. How is it with the temperature in December, is that pool heated? Or you wil train in another indoor pool?
Thanks a lot.
Pool is kept warm at about 82 degrees. Bring a parka and warm clothes as it can be cold on deck.
The pool is heated to 82 degrees. I would bring a parka so your swimmer can stay warm when they are out of the water. All pools in San Diego are outdoor. Swimmers in Southern California enjoy training outside.
Looking forward to seeing you in December.
