Sofia Van de Bovenkamp is the Director of Operations at The Race Club. She holds an MBA from California Baptist University and a B.S. in Business Administration and Finance.

A two-time NCAA Division II National Champion swimmer and former member of the Open Water National Team, she spent years competing at the international level – including World Cups, Junior European Championships, and the Universiade Games. That background as an elite athlete, combined with her experience coaching swimmers from age group programs all the way to Special Olympics, gives her a rare blend of grit, empathy, and leadership instinct.

At The Race Club, Sofia brings all of it together – the analytical mindset, the operational precision, and the heart of someone who genuinely loves helping people and teams perform at their best.
