Finn Brooks is an elite-level swim clinician who brings world-class performance experience directly to poolside coaching. With a background in Management and Human Organization from Indiana University and ongoing studies in AI for Business at Purdue University, he combines technical expertise with a modern, analytical approach to athlete development.

A standout performer in the sport, Finn holds one of the fastest times in history in the 100 Breaststroke (49.9), ranks among the top swimmers in the world in both the 50 Breaststroke (#6) and 50 Butterfly (#9), and has contributed to an American Record in the 200 Medley Relay. His experience competing at the highest level gives him a unique ability to break down what it truly takes to swim fast.

Finn specializes in the technical details that define elite performance, including underwater dolphin kicking, breakout efficiency, and breath control. He translates these high-level skills into clear, actionable coaching that swimmers can immediately apply.

In addition to coaching, Finn plays a key role in developing digital and instructional content, helping extend The Race Club’s coaching philosophy to athletes around the world. His combination of speed, insight, and communication makes him a valuable resource for swimmers looking to reach the next level.

Finn continues training and competing as a professional swimmer today. When he is not chasing best times in the pool, he loves hitting the waves – his favorite surf spot in California is Church at Trestles. He also plays drums in the band 2C, where he brings the energy on stage and it’s a great creative outlet away from the water. Finn is happy to be calling San Diego home!
