SUMMARY:STARTS & TURNS SWIM CAMP OCEANSIDE\, CA OCTOBER 10-11\, 2026
DESCRIPTION:Location: William Wagner Aquatics Center Oceanside\, CA\nOctober 10 – 11\, 2026 \nAfter working with thousands of swimmers around the world\, we’ve found that starts and turns are the most overlooked\, yet most decisive\, elements of racing. In many races\, the difference between first and fifth place comes down to what happens off the blocks and off the walls. That’s why we created our Two-Day Starts & Turns Performance Camp – an immersive\, high-performance experience dedicated entirely to explosive starts\, fast underwater speed\, and efficient\, powerful turns. \nThis camp is designed for competitive swimmers who want to sharpen the details that win races. \nWhat Makes This Camp Different\nOur methodology is built from decades of elite-level experience and collaboration with world-class athletes\, including 54 Olympians and internationally recognized sprint specialists such as Mark Foster (UK)\, Roland Schoeman (South Africa)\, and Brad Tandy (South Africa). We’ve studied and refined the technical nuances of world-class starts and turns and integrated them into a structured system that athletes can immediately apply in competition. \nWHAT SWIMMERS WILL LEARN\nDay 1 – Explosive Starts & Underwater Speed\nDay 1 is dedicated to building a fast\, powerful\, and technically precise start. Swimmers will learn how to generate explosive force off the blocks\, streamline efficiently through the air and water\, and maximize speed during the most critical seconds of the race. \nFocus Areas: \n\nExplosive block mechanics and body positioning\nReaction time and power generation principles\nClean entries and optimal underwater alignment\nHigh-velocity dolphin kicking\nBreakout timing and acceleration into the first stroke\nBackstroke start fundamentals\nVideo analysis for technical refinement\n\nDay 2 – Fast Turns & Efficient Race Execution\nDay 2 shifts focus to the walls – where races are often won or lost. Swimmers will develop faster\, tighter\, and more efficient turns while learning how to maintain momentum into and out of every wall. \nFocus Areas: \n\nFreestyle flip turn mechanics and efficiency\nPowerful push-offs and underwater speed\nBreakout timing from turns\nProper wall approach and rotation mechanics\nOpen turns and breaststroke/butterfly transitions\nBackstroke flip turns and start integration\nRace simulation and applied execution\n\nCAMP SCHEDULE\nSaturday\,  October 10th \n\n8:00 am – 12:00 pm\n12:00 pm – 1:00 pm (Optional – College Placement Video\, Video Analysis\, TRC Sensors Testing)\n2:00 pm – 4:00 pm\n\nSunday\, October 11th \n\n10:00 am – 12:00 pm\n12:00 pm – 2:00 pm (Optional – College Placement Video\, Video Analysis\, TRC Sensors Testing)\n2:00 pm – 4:00 pm\n\n*Times subject to change slightly \n\nEQUIPMENT\nTo ensure the highest quality training environment and maximize learning during each session\, swimmers are expected to arrive with all required equipment prepared before each workout. \nWe recommend the following items for use throughout camp: \nDMC Training Fins\nAlignment Kickboard\nNose Clip\nTRC Mono Snorkel\nFINIS Tempo Trainer\nFinger Paddles – Optional \nAll equipment items are available for purchase directly through The Race Club. \n  \nTRC EQUIPMENT BAG\nSwimmers may choose to purchase a Full Equipment Bag\, which includes all recommended items listed above\, conveniently packed in a TRC Mesh Bag with your TRC Bag Tag. \nEquipment Bag Value: $292 (Price may vary slightly depending on fin size and color.) \nAs a Bonus with purchase of the full equipment bag you get a FREE Race Club Signature T-Shirt \nOnce registered for Swim Camp\, please notify us if you plan to purchase individual equipment or the full equipment bag so everything is ready for you at the start of camp. \n  \nQUESTIONS?\nIf you have more questions. Please contact us info@theraceclub.com or call us at 833-234-2340 (and yes\, a real person will pick up. Need a quick answer? Call us!) \n  \nReady to Reserve Your Spot?\nSpots are limited. SUMMARY:SWIM CAMP OCEANSIDE\, CA NOVEMBER 22 - 25\, 2026
DESCRIPTION:Location: William Wagner Aquatics Center Oceanside\, CA / Brooks St Aquatics Center\, Oceanside\, CA\nNovember 22-25\, 2026 \nJoin The Race Club for an immersive four-day swim camp designed to elevate swimmers of all levels. \nFor four powerful days\, you’ll step inside the training philosophy that has helped shape Olympic champions and elevate swimmers at every level of the sport. At The Race Club\, we don’t just teach drills – we teach why they work. We break down the science of speed\, eliminate the mistakes that hold swimmers back\, and build the technical precision that separates good swimmers from great ones. This camp is designed to give you the tools\, confidence\, and race-ready skills to take your swimming to the next level. \nWhat Makes This Camp Different\nAt The Race Club\, we focus on the details that matter most: \n\nStroke efficiency and propulsion\nStarts\, turns\, and transitions\nUnderwater speed and dolphin kicking\nMobility and body alignment\nStrength\, recovery\, and nutrition\n\nEvery concept is taught in a classroom setting and then reinforced immediately in the pool for hands-on application. \nWHAT SWIMMERS WILL LEARN\nEach day includes structured morning and afternoon sessions combining education\, technical drills\, and performance training. Athletes will focus on all strokes\, starts\, and turns while improving freestyle\, backstroke\, breaststroke\, and butterfly technique. Camp curriculum includes four types of dryland training\, the science of swimming\, and the five disciplines of fast swimming. Swimmers will also develop seasonal planning\, mental training\, and race strategy skills to gain a competitive edge. \nAt The Race Club\, we recommend that all campers attend every camp session whether you are a beginner\, master\, or a competitive swimmer to improve your swimming technique. \nDay 1 – Freestyle Fundamentals & Body Alignment\nDay 1 is dedicated to building the foundation of fast swimming.
