I’m after some help on the key points to get a low breathe on front crawl . Do I tuck my chin to my chest and push my crown forward and down ? I can’t seem to get one goggle in and one out ? Not sure if it’s more about timing as well ? Any help would be great , thanks

    Hi Chad,

In teaching the low-profile freestyle breath, make sure you keep the chin tucked down and rotate, not lift, the head posteriorly (toward your arm pit). I have found that swimmers seem to do better with trying to keep the crown (top) of their heads pointing forward during the breath, rather than by trying to keep one goggle in the water.
